# DAO Governance

### Decentralized Governance Framework (DGF)

The DAO operates through a legal charter. Node owners have actual legal ownership of the platform and vote on proposals, economic changes, fund allocation, and committee elections. Voting power is proportional to nodes operated.

The 10,000 DAO Battery nodes are excluded from voting. Only community-owned nodes participate in governance.

**Proposals:** Any node owner can submit proposals. The fee is 25,000 USD in GULD, added to the DAO Battery.

**Scope:** Governance controls development priorities, economic parameters, treasury allocation, partnerships, and protocol upgrades.

The DAO votes on future mechanisms—transaction fees, new reward models, or other innovations the community proposes.\
